oh noo :(
RIP sweet doggie
Aw, poor puppy. Fourteen isn't bad at all.
Interested in recs, I'm old, so it never really occurred to me to check youtube for recipes. Specifically interested in vegetarian (or even vegan) channels.
The Domestic Geek!
Cheap lazy vegan is good for vegan recipes and Laura in the Kitchen has a lot of gems but only a few number of veggie recipes. Still, with over a thousand recipes you are bound to find something
Peaceful cuisine has a whole bunch of vegan recipes (possibly even all of them?) and a no-music AMSR playlist that i watch/listen to when drunk and or not sober because it's very soothing.
I thought the host was a 14 year old human (I've never watched this show) and I was side-eyeing your comment, I was so confused.
hot for food
Budget Bytes looks like a decent one, even if it's not a youtube channel. She actually budgets out how much the recipe ingredients cost in her area and there's a lot of vegetable recipes.
Aww, rest in peace, lil dust bunny. I wonder what they're gonna do. It's not like they can just replace him without upsetting the audience a little. Unless they're going to start using the plushie version of him as a prop.

i think they'll use plushie francis, they started bringing him in when they realised real francis was old and nearing the end of his days /depressing
R.I.P Francis :(
Ochikeron is my fave Japanese cooking Youtuber. I'm not vegan, but I'm also into Kicki Yang Zhang's 'What I Ate in a Day' videos. Not really into any other vegan's tho, even Hot for Food...somethinig about Lauren rubs me the wrong way

It took the comment above saying "Fourteen isn't bad at all" to prompt me to re-read the post, because I totally thought it was about a kid that died. But now I see it's a dog. RIP puppy.
aw i've been dreading this day since i started watching. RIP francis. thanks for all the recipes!
OH no! :( Awwwww rip doggo.
omg :( :( :(
I'm so sorry :( it is so hard.
This year in particular has been hard on me because about 17 years ago now we lost a beloved golden retriever and we ended up getting like 3 dogs and 2 cats within and that helped our pain and gave us so much joy.
The problem is that they all got old around the same time and in the span of a year and a half we lost our second golden, my beloved kitty and we lost one of our two dachshund just about 12 days ago. We think our second dachshund will follow soon. It is the hardest thing.
My dog dying upset me more than the deaths of all 4 of my grandparents combined, it's weird.
I can relate and tbh it doesn't really bother me. I had already grandmother gone way before I was born, one pass when I was probably 5 and he had Alzheimer's, and one pass when I was probably 16 but I barely saw him (I just said sorry to my dad, that's literally it)
Only one grandmother passing really affected me, but even then I was upset but not wrecked with emotion.
But my dogs? I was a mess with how I reacted. You see them everyday, they love you unconditionally, they're always happy to see you....I've never had one dog pass that I cried for a little bit and then moved on shortly.
My precious doggie died this past June at the age of 9. It was too damn soon. But she had cancer and it wasn't responding to the chemo so we had to do the kind thing and let her go.
Fuck it hurt though.
I still get a bit teary when thinking about it all.
I'm so sorry for your loss :'(
It's not fucked up at all. I was sad about my grandparents passing, my nonna more so than any of them, but my dog passing destroyed me. It's been over a year, and I still cry when I think about him too long.
Rip Francis ♥ I really enjoyed watching their videos.
and to answer OP's question my favorite cooking/baking channels are
- Maangchi
- Kawaiisweetworld
- CupcakeJemma
- Honeykkicook
most ''cooking'' videos I watch are actually those ''what I eat in a day'' videos :P
